Join us on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, for a very special Cathay Post #186 meeting.
We will proudly recognize our Vietnam War–era veterans with a heartfelt “Welcome Home” ceremony. Please invite veterans you know—especially those who served during the Vietnam War era—to attend this meaningful tribute.
Living U.S. veterans who served on active duty in the Armed Forces between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of duty location, are eligible to receive a Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin. We look forward to honoring their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our nation.
We are also pleased to welcome back David and Roberta Waggoner, ambassadors for Project Recover. They will share an update on the organization’s ongoing mission to search for and repatriate American MIAs and POWs from past conflicts.
In addition, we’ve invited Paws for Purple Hearts to provide a brief presentation about their work training service dogs for wounded Service Members and Veterans. And yes—there will be service dog puppies in training joining us!
We promise it will be a memorable evening honoring military service, strengthening community fellowship, and enjoying some very adorable puppies.
