🇺🇸 Calling All Puget Sound Hometown Heroes!

Active-duty military, veterans, and first responders—American Legion Cathay Post #186 invites you and your family to march with us in the Chinatown Seafair Parade!

Join us as we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary and Seafair, one of Seattle's most cherished summer traditions.

Presented by the Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the annual Chinatown Seafair Parade is an officially sanctioned Seafair event featuring spectacular lion and dragon dances, the Seattle Chinese Girls Drill Team, martial arts demonstrations, and community organizations from throughout the Greater Seattle area.

Leading the parade will be the American Legion Cathay Post #186 Color Guard and veterans. This year's parade proudly recognizes our Puget Sound Hometown Heroes—active-duty military, veterans, and first responders—for their service and dedication as part of Seattle Chinatown's America 250 celebration.

We need volunteers to help carry the Giant U.S. Flag and the POW/MIA Flag, and to distribute American flags to spectators before the parade begins. Your participation will help create a memorable tribute to those who serve our nation and our community.

As our guest, you and your family will receive a complimentary Kau Kau Chinese BBQ boxed dinners. Meals are limited, so please RSVP early to reserve yours.
