SCHOLARSHIPS

DEADLINE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. (PST)

Cathay Post #186 has a mission of supporting our local community. One way we do this is by providing two $2,500 scholarships in the Winter of 2026.

Eligibility and special requirements are the following:

•  High school senior or undergraduate pursuing a degree or certificate in a community college, professional/technical (trades) school, or 4-year university.

• Cathay Post #186 members (past or current) or their relatives.

• Recommended/sponsored by a Cathay Post #186 member (past or current).

• A scholarship recipient must wait at least one year before applying for another scholarship.

• The maximum number of scholarships a candidate can receive is two.

Scholarship Guidelines and Application forms are below.  The application deadline is Monday, February 16, 2026, by 11:59pm (PST).
